  • The FedEx Small Business Grant is set to award over $230,000 in grants and services to 10 U.S.-based small businesses. One grand prize winner will receive $50,000 and nine additional recipients will be granted $20,000 — along with various perks, including print credit, consultation services, and more. Applications open March 1 and close April 1
  • The Backing Small Businesses grant program is now open!
In partnership with American Express, the Backing Small Businesses grant program supports economically vulnerable and under-resourced small businesses with community reach.
This year, eligible small business owners can apply for $10,000 grants for projects that grow or improve their businesses by building community, supporting their economic viability, or bolstering meaningful change.
Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. CT on March 14, 2024, through April 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm CT. The application period will end once 5,000 applications have been submitted, even if that occurs before the deadline—so make sure to apply early!

  • The Walmart Spark Good Local Grants offers grants ranging from $250 to $5K to address the unique needs of local communities. Grant applications are accepted quarterly, with Q1 submissions accepted through April 15.
  • The Kitty Fund Mompreneur Business Grant will award $25,000 total to 25 small business owners who identify as mothers in 2024. Eligible businesses must be based in the U.S., have annual revenues under $5M, and employ between 2 to 50 people. Applications close April 16
  • Applications are open for community-based organizations providing suicide prevention services to Veterans. Deadline to apply is April 26 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  •  The American Dream Awards recognize small businesses across the U.S. that embody the spirit of innovation, make significant contributions to their communities, and adhere to sustainable business practices. The awards offer grants from $1,000 and additional benefits like an accelerator program and media exposure. Applications are due by April 30
  •  
    Giving Joy grants, ranging from $250 to $500, are available to businesses in any sector and can be used to start or expand businesses, nonprofits, non-governmental organizations, or community projects that focus on benefiting women, girls, and families. Applications are due April 30, 2024.
  • The 2024 Black Ambition Prize competition aims to level the playing field for Black and Hispanic innovators by providing access to capital, coaching, and a supportive community. Awards range from $15K to $1M, with up to 250 semi-finalists and one grand prize winner receiving $1M. Eligible organizations can apply through May 6.

  • The National Black Business Pitch competition aims to connect Black-owned businesses with corporations looking to diversify their supply chain by opening doors and fostering long-term relationships that can lead to sustainable contracts. Thirty finalists will pitch to corporate procurement and supplier diversity professionals, with three companies receiving cash prizes of up to $10,000 to promote business growth and opportunity. Applications are due by June 3.
  • The Jobber Grants program is awarding $10,000 grants to support 15 home service businesses that display excellence in their industry. Eligible businesses include those that provide one-time or recurring maintenance or repair in industries such as landscaping, car detailing, and pool maintenance, among others. Applications are due on June 12.
