About Us

Kansas City Kansas Community College has been a staple in the Leavenworth area community since 1987 when its first satellite office was in downtown Leavenworth on Cherokee Street. In 2015, the college moved to the KCKCC Pioneer Career Center at 1901 Spruce Street in Leavenworth, KS.

KCKCC PCC offers over 30 college academic classes (including Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Education)
during the day and evening throughout the fall/spring/summer semesters. Technical programs are
also available in the following fields at PCC: Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Electrical Technology,
Health Careers (CNA), and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). The center also conducts
GED classes in August, October, January, and March.

The KCKCC PCC is also very community-oriented. The center hosts an annual Halloween Bash, Cookies
with Santa, and Easter Egg event. Students also enjoy events such as our Back-to-School Bash,
Grocery BINGO, health initiatives, finals week breakfast, pizza with the president, and bake sales.
There are also community initiatives like United Way and Adopt-A-Family during the holiday season.

Proud and honored to serve our military men and women, veterans, and their families. KCKCC has been named military friendly since 2010!
