The Employment Services Program is here to help!
 
The Employment Services Program can help you overcome barriers to employment such as the absence of a high school diploma or GED, lack of transportation and more!
 
This program is designed to assist individuals achieve their career goals and to find employment placement with opportunities for growth as well!
 
“On average, it takes 3-6 months from start to finish to get a job…that means it could take as many as 10-20 applications to just get one interview” (FlexJobs Career Expert Cidnye Work). With the Employment Services Program, we are here to make your employment search be quicker and less stressful through the support we can provide!
 
Through partnering with Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, our employment program is connected to a growing list of employers in fields such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, IT, and more!
 
The Employment Services Program support includes:
 

• Assessments to determine the best career path for you
• Identifying high in demand careers with livable wages
• Providing work readiness training
• Resume building/Interview Preparations
• Access to Catholic Charities financial training and other resources
• Person-centered case management to support you in attaining your individualized career goals
• Connecting with employers that the Employment Services Program is partnered with

• Emergency housing or utility assistance (Rent/Mortgage, Water, Gas, Electric)

• Transportation (Fuel, Repairs, Bus Pass, Uber/Taxi)
• Clothing (Specifically for work or interviewing)
• Bicycle or bicycle repairs
• Other needs, as approved
