About Us

A sense of community with customers and vendors, featuring local cheese, fresh produce, fresh cut flowers, heirloom tomatoes, apples and pears, raspberries, and strawberries, pumpkins, whole grain baked breads and cakes, locally raised meats and home made soaps, dried pasta, gluten free baked goods and wines available in a family friendly atmosphere. Easy to park right at farmers stalls, no handicapped barriers, dogs on a lease allowed, families with strollers encouraged. It is under a covered pavilion so we are open rain or shine. First Wednesday of each month, ''Cooking Fresh with Chef Elena'' cooking demo begins at 3:30. Chef Elena selects fresh produce or products from the market that day and prepares the dish while providing pointers on how to prepare the dish at home, free sampling. On Saturdays, two or three vendors will get together and ''Pair'' their products; for example cheese will be paired with fresh breads, tomatoes and herbs or the produce farmers might pair their squash with fresh herbs and green onions for sampling. The pottery stall might pair with a herb farmer for a new and different dip dish for serving dip samples. The Market is open Saturday, May through October, 7:00am to 12:00 noon and Wednesday, May through September 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Know Your Farmer--Know Your Food
